    Pool: Sandia Pool
    SGOL Link
    Rating: B
The Good News: 25 yards, six lanes, pace clocks, pull buoys, kickboards and it's just a couple bucks.
The Bad News: It's open for lap swim from 6 am to 9 am and then not again til 5 or 6 pm. Personally, I like a nice afternoon workout.
Details: This is a classic municipal pool, probably built in the early sixties. It reminds me of the one I started at when I was a kid. The locker room is truly funky.

    Pool: Fort Marcy Pool
    SGOL Link
    Rating: B
Good News: 25 yards, six lanes, cheap.
The Bad News: Good luck breathing. Do some altitude training in the Andes before you kick it in this town.
Details: It's near a great coffee house called Oasis Cafe. Stop by and have some killer black bean soup after you surrender to oxygen debt.
