If you're visiting this page from a swim link, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Laurie Kilmartin. I'm a standup comic and I would sell my own sister to a Tel Aviv brothel if that would land me a sitcom on the WB. And, I am a Masters swimmer!

My career means I travel at least twenty five weeks a year. If I've done my math correctly then that's a really high number of lap pools annually. They alternate in quality between totally awesome and completely hideous. Each week is a new aquatic adventure for me and at this site I will be offering a thumbs position, up or down, on each pool.
